Patient Satisfaction

We work hard to continually improve our treatment outcomes, and it is very important to us what our residents and families tell us about how their lives have been improved by our program.

Recent quarterly Patient Satisfaction Surveys show that:

92 percent
92% of our patients were very satisfied with their treatment
94 percent
94% of our patients feel that their treatment goals and needs were met
97 percent
• 97% of our patients understand what their medications do and why they should take them

What our patients have said:

“I am so very thankful to each and every member of your staff for working with kids like me. Because of all of you, I am still alive and have hope for my future. Thank you for saving my life.”

“This is the best facility I’ve ever attended.”

“If I had not come to Midwest Center, I don’t know if I would be alive today. Because of all of you, I am healthy, have my own job and bank account, and pay my own bills. I have not self-harmed in more than two years. When I do feel the occasional urge to self-harm, I can hear your encouraging words and use my DBT skills instead. I go to an LGBT support group, and have become more comfortable in my own skin. Coming to Midwest was the best thing that could have happened to me.”

What our families have said:

“Our daughter has been adjusting back home amazingly well, and is teaching us the DBT skills she learned while there. We are so very thankful for the time she was able to spend with you and your program. I cannot thank you and your staff enough for everything you accomplished with her.”

“Special thanks to the entire Midwest team. Everyone we interacted with treated us with such respect and kindness. I am proud to say that our son continues to do well, and is actively using his DBT skills.”

“My wife and I would like to give our heartfelt thanks for all of you that did so much to help our daughter. In particular, she loved her nurses, her teacher, and her Recreational Therapist, and we want to give a special shout out to her therapists who helped not only our daughter, but us parents as well.”
